Studio Rental

Bay Area Ballet Conservatory offers four studios for rental All studios are equipped with sprung marley floors, sound systems, mirrors and barres.

Due to our flooring, we can only accommodate rentals for ballet shoes, pointe shoes, jazz shoes, socks, character shoes. No bare feet, heels of any kind, tap shoes or street shoes.

Rentals are not available for students under the age of 18 that are not currently enrolled at Bay Area Ballet Conservatory to receive private lesson coaching with teachers outside of BABC’s resident or guest faculty.

Rentals for national school summer intensives and professional company auditions are available.

Rentals for master classes and workshops may be available. Inquire for details.

Rental Rates

Below are rates for rehearsal groups. Please inquire for a quote for any group class or special event.

Studio 1:

$45 per hour (minimum booking is 1.5 hours per month) for 8 dancers or less.

$55 per hour (minimum booking is 1.5 hours per month) for 9 dancers or more.

Studio 2:

$40 per hour (minimum booking is 1.5 hours per month) for 8 dancers or less.

$50 per hour (minimum booking is 1.5 hours per month) for 9 dancers or more.

Studio 3 or 4:

Studios 3 or 4: $25 per hour (minimum booking is 1.5 hours per month) for 8 dancers or less.

ONSITE MANAGER

A $25/hr on-site manager may be required for rentals occurring outside of our regular business hours.

BILLING NOTE

Invoices/Billing is not available in 15 min increments. Any .25 hour (15 min) increments will be rounded up to .5 hour in a rental invoice. For example, a 2 hour and 15 min rental will be billed for 2 hour and 30 min.

BABC will email an invoice as a booking confirmation, with payment due the day of use for one-time rentals.

Bulk rental discounts are available, detailed below. To receive a bulk rental rate, rental payment must be made by the 3rd of the month, or at the time of booking if booking mid-month.

POLICIES

Cancelations may be made at least 24 hrs prior to when rental payment is due, with no penalty.

For cancelations made after rental payment has been processed, payments can be applied as future rental credit, with exception to invoices where a bulk rental discount has been applied.

There are no refunds.

To receive a bulk rental rate, rental payment must be made by the 3rd of the month, or at the time of booking if booking mid-month. Rental hours may be added after the fact as needed, but discount would not be adjusted retroactively. There are no credits or refunds for paid invoices with a bulk rental discount applied.

Absolutely NO FOOT POWDERS OR BODY LOTIONS

Absolutely NO FOOD OR DRINK besides water permitted in the studio

Renters must use the exact studio rented and paid for, even if a different studio is empty.

Renters must honor the time rented, and not stay beyond their rented time.

20+ hours: 10%

30+ hours: 15%

40+ hours: 20%
